Pearson Air Fair

Calling all aviation and science fans! Spend a day:

  • meeting local pilots.
  • exploring the cockpits of iconic planes.
  • learning how airplanes fly with hands-on science activities.
  • explore career and college opportunities. 

Pearson Field Education Center (201A E. Reserve St.) invites you to join us for Pearson Air Fair on May 2, 2020 from 10:00 am-4:00 pm. Located on Pearson Field Airport, guests can get explore how aviation plays an important role in our community. Local business, schools and aviation organizations will be onsite to teach kids about career and college paths in the STEM and aviation world. Guests can learn how to build a real plane with Airway Science for Kids, try a commercial drone simulation in Insitu’s mobile drone command center, explore the remote-controlled planes with Clark County Radio Control Society, learn about educational opportunities with Cascadia Technical Academy’s Aviation program, and connect with civilian, military and commercial pilots from Rose City Women in Aviation International, Columbia Cascades 99s, Camas Washougal Aviation Association and  South West Washington Pilots Association.

This event is free of charge. Parking for this event will be at the large field across from the intersection of E. 5th St. and T St. in Vancouver, Washington.
